FAQ

Straight answers

The questions business owners and engineering leads actually ask us before signing anything.

01

What does 'Everything Digital. One Team.' actually mean in practice?

It means one contract, one point of contact, and one team accountable for your website, your software, your search visibility, your security posture, and your infrastructure. Practically, it removes the handover gaps where projects usually fail: the agency that built the site does not have to negotiate with a different vendor to fix a hosting problem, and the SEO recommendation is implemented by the engineers who wrote the code.

02

Can you take on a single small project, or only long engagements?

Both. Roughly half of our work starts as a fixed-scope project — a site build, an audit, a single automation. If the fit is good, clients usually move onto a retainer afterwards, but there is no obligation and we structure every handover so you are not dependent on us.

03

How do you price work?

Fixed price for well-defined scope, and a monthly rate for ongoing work where scope is expected to evolve. After a discovery call we give you a written estimate broken down by phase, with the assumptions listed explicitly so you can see what would change the number.

04

Who owns the code, infrastructure, and accounts?

You do, from day one. Repositories, cloud accounts, domain, analytics, and documentation are created in your name or transferred to you. We also document the architecture so another team could take over without us.

05

Which technologies do you work with?

Primarily TypeScript, React, Next.js, Node.js, PostgreSQL, Tailwind CSS, and Cloudflare's platform including Workers, D1, R2, KV, and Hyperdrive. We also work in Python for data and AI workloads, with AWS, Azure, Terraform, and Docker for infrastructure. If you have an existing stack, we work with it rather than forcing a rewrite.

06

Can you work with our existing internal team?

Yes, and it is often the best arrangement. We can plug in as a specialist squad, review and mentor, take a specific workstream, or run the parts your team does not want — security, infrastructure, and search are the most common.

07

How quickly can you start?

Discovery usually begins within one to two weeks of a signed scope. For urgent incident response or a security issue, contact us directly and we will triage the same day if we can.

08

Do you offer ongoing support after launch?

Yes. Support agreements cover monitoring, dependency and security updates, backups, small changes, and a defined response time. Every agreement is written down, including what is explicitly out of scope.

09

How do you report on results?

Against the success criteria agreed in discovery. For search and marketing that means enquiries, qualified leads, and cost per acquisition alongside search visibility. For engineering it means delivery milestones, system reliability, and support volume. We agree the baseline before work starts, and we do not present numbers we cannot measure.

10

Will you sign an NDA and work within our compliance requirements?

Yes. We routinely work under NDA and can align to your data handling, residency, and access requirements. Where a control is impractical for a team of our size, we will say so during scoping rather than after signing.

11

What do you need from us to move fast?

A named decision maker, timely access to systems and data, and honest feedback at the end of each cycle. Projects slow down almost always because reviews wait, not because the build is hard.

12

Do you use AI in the work you deliver?

Where it genuinely helps. We build AI features and automations for clients, and we use AI tooling internally for drafting, code review assistance, and analysis. All client code and data stay within agreed boundaries, and anything we ship is reviewed by an engineer before it reaches production.
